Born from a garage-style passion project, Gelblast became Scandinavia’s go-to destination for gel blasters, operated from Tølløse and Ringkøbing. Rapid demand and a vibrant community outpaced their site’s ability to convert traffic into sales. They needed a premium experience, cleaner data, and a growth engine that could keep pace with momentum.

Despite surging interest, the storefront wasn’t turning visits into purchases at the rate it should. Product discovery and landing pages lacked clarity, while friction in cart and checkout caused drop-offs. Mobile performance lagged during peak periods, slowing pages and eroding trust. Proof (UGC, reviews, certifications) was underutilised, and messaging didn’t consistently hit buyer intent. Tracking was incomplete, obscuring where users fell out of the journey. Paid campaigns drove clicks, but without strong post-click paths, efficiency suffered. With growth accelerating, the team needed a conversion-first UX and evidence-driven optimisation program to stop revenue leakage.

We rebuilt key journeys around speed and clarity: intent-matched landing pages, simplified PDPs, and a friction-free cart-to-checkout flow. Using advanced tracking, heatmaps, and session replays, we mapped real user behaviour, identified blockers, and prioritised high-impact fixes. We introduced structured A/B testing on headlines, imagery, badges, pricing cues, and CTAs, pairing wins with permanent rollouts. Mobile performance was tuned aggressively, trimming scripts and app bloat to lift Core Web Vitals. We systemised social proof with UGC, reviews, and safety/compliance badges to reduce hesitation. Paid search and social creatives were aligned to the new UX, tightening message match and improving post-click conversion. Dashboards and KPIs gave the team clear visibility to scale what works.
